Its finally here! So many people wanted this vintage dye to age their new shoes and here it is. You will receive (1) .5 oz bottle of Vintage hard rubber dye!
- Shake bottle well!
- Prep midsole with acetone or alcohol. Allow to fully dry.
- Use a CLEAN paintbrush or dauber and apply in coats. ONE coat is a nice aged vintage look so do not overdo it! One bottle will do plenty of pairs when used correctly.
- Use a heat gun (if you wish) to allow the midsole dye to settle into the midsole or sole.
- Let dry. If you use too much allow to completely dry and then wipe gently with denatured alcohol/rubbing alcohol.
DISCLAIMER: UNLIKE MY PERMANENT SOLE DYE I DO NOT RECOMMENT USING THIS ON TRANSLUCENT SOLES BECAUSE THIS PERFECTED TO GIVE THE VINTAGE LOOK ON HARD RUBBER NOT TRANSLUCENT SOLES. IF YOU NEED SOMETHING FOR TRANSLUCENT SOLES PLEASE GO TO THE PERMANENT SOLE DYE LISTING. Over time the bottom may fade, you're walking on it that's just how life works. If you want to add extra protection you could seal with LK
You can wipe this off and the area will still be stained. If you feel it is too dark just wipe off and start over.
THIS DYE WILL WORK ON HARD WHITE RUBBER SOLES (AFI BOTTOMS AND SIDES, AJ1 MIDSOLES, HARD RUBBER PIECES ETC)
